Time To Send Holiday Greetings!

Yikes! There are just a little over 5 weeks until Christmas and I need to start thinking about whether or not I will send holiday cards this year! I typically purchase my Christmas and New Year greeting cards when they're on sale at the end of the previous year's holiday season. I really then have no plausible excuse the following year not to send them. However, as the holidays quickly approach and the days get busier with Thanksgiving, decorating our home inside and out, shopping for the perfect Christmas gifts, the seemingly endless task of wrapping, cookie baking, school parties, work parties, oh and of course my real job (the one that pays me!) my grand plan seems to fall apart! Oh my, it's exhausting just thinking about what all I need to accomplish within the upcoming weeks!

Anyway, what actually happens every year is that I decide prioritize my tasks. To lighten the load, sending holiday cards is moved to the bottom of the list of things to do before Christmas. Then the first of the holiday greetings almost always arrives around Thanksgiving and more cards fill the mailbox each day thereafter. The guilt sets in and I feel the need to send our holiday greetings to family and friends. I actually love sending and receiving Christmas and New Years cards. Stay Warm Winter Sport Moms!

When I was a young girl I spent nearly every Saturday, Sunday and some evenings too in (and sometimes under!) the grandstands at my brothers' football and soccer games. I have three older brothers and a Dad whom also was an assistant football coach as well as the head soccer coach at my brothers' high schools. So my mom, younger sister, and I were at every game to cheer them on! I have so many great memories of those past times and I wouldn't trade them for anything.... except maybe some warmer weather! Bottom line is that I don't like to be cold! I can remember actually crying at some of the football and soccer matches and wondering if my tears would freeze. Zoey's Attic Personalized Gifts makes fabulous custom designed shirts. We really truly love their organic cotton shirts. I like that the direct to garment printing is made with eco-friendly inks too!!

I wanted a shirt that was all encompassing of our daughter at the moment. She's into a variety of different things and Erin from Zoey's Attic was able to make exactly what I wished for right down to the wordage, colors, pictures, etc.

I absolutely love the design. It clearly spells out everything my daughter lives for. The digital direct to garment printing is vibrant, as always, and it has held up well to constant washing (because it's been worn many times!). 

We have had one issue with the shirt and honestly it has happened with almost all of the organic shirts we have from Zoey's Attic. I think it's a simple matter of how pale the color is, but they sure do stain easily, even if you treat it that day. Luckily for this shirt, the stain was from chocolate chips and landed near the chocolate brown horse so ... it's not quite as obvious.

I love that because of the wordage, it can be worn in several ways! Above, you saw her with "her" horse and here she is dressed for dance class!

Overall, we love the comfort, the fit, and the eco-friendly options of the organic shirts being available plus the eco-friendly ink! My daughter declares her Zoey's Attic organic shirts to be her most comfortable shirts! And that's what matters most to this mama.
