Zoey's Attic Personalized Gifts is taking care of the domestic shipping upgrade this weekend! Our U.S. customers can order your Mother's Day gifts through Sunday, May 1st with BASIC shipping thereby avoiding additional upgraded shipping costs. Unfortunately, the international shipping deadline for Mother's Day has already passed. Starting Monday, May 2nd, you will need to select PRIORITY or EXPRESS processing and shipping at checkout to receive your order in time for your Mother's Day celebration. Then on Wednesday, May 4th you will need to upgrade to EXPRESS shipping for Mother's Day delivery. You can still order with Express shipping on Thursday, May 5th, but we are so sorry we cannot at that time guarantee a Mother's Day delivery even with this upgraded shipping method. We are processing and shipping all Mother's Day gifts and personalized shirts as fast as we possibly can, but the one thing for sure is that we can't control the speed of the U.S. Postal Service. Oh my! It's already the last week of April! I'm looking forward to a warm sunshiny May and of course Mother's Day! As I've shared in a previous post, May is my all-time favorite month of the year. Unfortunately, the international shipping deadline for Mother's Day has already passed. Starting tomorrow, May 3rd, you will need to select PRIORITY or EXPRESS processing and shipping at checkout to receive your order in time for your Mother's Day celebration on Sunday, May 10th. For you gamblers out there, we will ship all regular orders with BASIC shipping ASAP, but we will assume you are okay rolling the dice as to if your order will arrive in time for Mother's Day or not, and they will not be guaranteed. For example, Norway toasts her moms in February,  Kurdistan in June, Thailand and Costa Rica in August, Argentina in October, and Russia in November. In the U.S., the second Sunday of May each year is set aside to honor our Moms. This year Mother's Day is Sunday, May 10th. Why not surprise your mom, step mom, foster mom, mother-in-law, grandma, or even a special auntie with a special Mother's Day gift this May 10th?  Zoey's Attic can help. The good news is there is still plenty of time to order and have delivery of your custom Mother's Day shirts and sweet gifts such as the Grandma's love bugs bib apron, Mom and Nana tote bags, custom throw pillows, and personalized drinkware for everyone on your list. It's Almost Spring!

The March Equinox marks the moment the Sun crosses the celestial equator, the imaginary line in the sky above the Earth' s equator that runs from south to north. This year it will occur on March 20th and marks the first day of Spring in the Northern Hemisphere. The 2014/2015 winter wasn't nearly as awful in our Midwest location as the previous winter season, but I am still ever thankful it's almost over (even if we did have sleet today!). I'm so looking forward to packing away my many layers of winter shirts, sweaters, jackets, and coats. I love sorting through my Spring clothing and filling my drawers and closet with light colored and lightweight Spring apparel. When I was a little girl I didn't have any money (we weren't given an allowance back then), so I had to be creative when it came to gift giving.  I would often times rummage through my dresser drawers and choose a prized possession of mine to give for a birthday or Christmas present.  For special occasions such as Mother's Day and Father's Day, I would typically make a greeting card by creating an awesome piece of artwork (at least I thought it was awesome!) and adding sentimental words of love and appreciation.  My parents always seemed to love these very personal gifts above all others.  When I became a mom I soon learned how truly special it was to be on the receiving end of such gifts.
