Zoey's Attic Personalized Gifts makes fabulous custom designed shirts. We really truly love their organic cotton shirts. I like that the direct to garment printing is made with eco-friendly inks too!!

I wanted a shirt that was all encompassing of our daughter at the moment. She's into a variety of different things and Erin from Zoey's Attic was able to make exactly what I wished for right down to the wordage, colors, pictures, etc.

I absolutely love the design. It clearly spells out everything my daughter lives for. The digital direct to garment printing is vibrant, as always, and it has held up well to constant washing (because it's been worn many times!). 

We have had one issue with the shirt and honestly it has happened with almost all of the organic shirts we have from Zoey's Attic. I think it's a simple matter of how pale the color is, but they sure do stain easily, even if you treat it that day. Luckily for this shirt, the stain was from chocolate chips and landed near the chocolate brown horse so ... it's not quite as obvious.

I love that because of the wordage, it can be worn in several ways! Above, you saw her with "her" horse and here she is dressed for dance class!

Overall, we love the comfort, the fit, and the eco-friendly options of the organic shirts being available plus the eco-friendly ink! My daughter declares her Zoey's Attic organic shirts to be her most comfortable shirts! And that's what matters most to this mama.

Stylin' For Independence Day!

It's almost Independence Day in the U.S.! On July 4th, 1776 the delegates to the Continental Congress which consisted of representatives from the 13 original colonies adopted the Declaration of Independence. Thomas Jefferson, who in 1800 became the 3rd President of the United States of America, was the principal author of this historic document. The birth of American Independence has been celebrated ever since on the Fourth of July! In 1870, the United States Congress officially made July 4th a federal holiday. So excited it falls on a Monday this year! The extended three day weekend will be lots of fun, but I may not be so happy when the alarm clock goes off on Tuesday morning!

Now there are only 13 more days until July 4th and we want to be sure you have the coolest shirt on the planet for this fun day! So if you happen to be making a special announcement during the holiday weekend or just need a special tee or sparkly shirt for all the 4th of July festivities, Zoey's Attic Personalized Gifts has got you covered! Here is the latest on our Independence Day processing and shipping schedule for our U.S. customers: order your custom July 4th shirts through Sunday, June 26th with BASIC shipping thereby avoiding additional upgraded shipping costs. Starting Monday, June 27th, you will need to select PRIORITY or EXPRESS processing and shipping at checkout to receive your order in time for the Independence Day celebration. Then as of Wednesday, June 29th you must upgrade to EXPRESS shipping for delivery of your items before the festivities begin! You can still order with Express shipping on Thursday, June 30th, but we are so sorry we cannot at that time guarantee an Independence Day delivery even with this upgraded shipping method. We are processing and shipping all July 4th gifts and personalized shirts as fast as we possibly can, but the one thing we know is that we can't control the speed of the U.S. Postal Service. All orders placed with BASIC shipping after Sunday, June 26th will be processed and shipped in the order we receive them and unfortunately with BASIC shipping we are not able to guarantee your order will arrive in time for the Fourth of July. Personalized Graduation Tees & Gifts!

When I was a young school girl there was no internet. I had absolutely no knowledge of computers and certainly had no idea of how this advancement in technology would impact everyday life in the future! It's really difficult for me to imagine my life now without being "connected" via the internet! Our kiddos surely live in a vastly different world than I did when I was a youngster. We actually shopped in a real brick and mortar store as there was no online shopping in those days! Our parents took us to the local discount store, either Spartans (long since closed) or K-Mart for our play clothes. Famous Barr, which is now a Macy's, and Stix, Baer and Fuller (currently a Dillard's) were the nearby department stores. We only shopped at these stores for special occasions! This is where we went to purchase our outfits for family weddings, Christmas, or Easter. Then of course every August we went into the city to visit Wilhelms, a specialty shop which carried our school uniforms. We did have a few out-of-uniform days during the school year and if you wanted to wear personalized clothing you had to have your mom or grandma make them for you. I was certainly very fortunate that my Aunt Mary Jane was an excellent seamstress. She could make anything! When I graduated from the 8th grade she made me two beautiful A-line dresses. One was a sleeveless blue paisley patterned dress to wear to summer events, the other a short sleeved tan corduroy dress with an orange and rust flowered pattern to wear to the upcoming Fall dances. I couldn't have been any happier with this special gift my Aunt made just for me!

So in the "olden days" we didn't have anything personalized with our name unless mom made it, and that meant a trip to the local fabric shop to purchase iron-on patches. After carefully placing the selected decals and letters of our name on the shirt Mom would affix them with a very hot iron. Unfortunately, the personalization would peel off the shirt after its first washing. Embroidery was another method of personalizing our clothing, but you had to know someone who could embroider! Back then it was done by hand and not by a machine.

Oh, and there were no preschools when I was a little girl so there was never a need for a preschool graduation outfit. However, the last day of kindergarten (1/2 day only) was dress up day! How special it would have been to wear a custom created shirt acknowledging a successful completion to my first year of formal education! I would have been so ahead of the times... a real fashionista! Exciting news! Zoey's Attic is coming soon to Webster Groves, MO, a suburb of Saint Louis and home to Zoey's Attic owners, Erin and Tim! This community was also the childhood home of writer Jonathan Franzen, and other notable Webster residents over the years include Cardinal and Cub baseball announcer Harry Caray; Ivory Crockett, the 100 yard dash world record holder; beloved comedienne Phyllis Diller; supermodel Karlie Kloss; national news personalities Russ Mitchell and Bob Dotson; and former FBI and CIA Direction William Webster. And now, home to Zoey's Attic!

We are two lifelong Webster Groves residents and we're so happy to bring our successful internet based personalized gifts business to Old Webster! We plan to open our new brick & mortar shop at 20 N. Gore Avenue in late Fall 2015. We will be occupying the space that previously was home to Apple of Your Eye (a favorite shop from my childhood!).
