A new kind of Baby Announcement - Birth Announcement Shirts!
If you're looking for a fresh, fun birth announcement we've got the onesie for you! After the new baby arrives, you can outfit them in this adorable onesie, we'll fill in all the details for you - birth weight, height, date, parents names and any siblings and then ship you this adorable shirt. Take a photo of the little one in this outfit and there you have it - all the information right there on the shirt.
I'm working on a sample later this week, but so far the response has been great. Let us know what you think. If you like this idea, let us know.
ps - Did you know? When you comment on a Zoey's Attic Blog Entry, we automatically enter you in a drawing for a free shirt. Shirts are drawn at the end of each month - so don't be shy friends. Tell us what's going on with you and you might just win free cool stuff from ZA!

St. Patrick's Day T-Shirts!
New moms and dads, don't worry! St. Patrick’s Day can still be fun with a kid or two. Or three or four as the case may be! This year we went to the St. Patrick’s Day Run. It’s a five mile run, and you can sign up as a competitive or non-competitive runner, or you can even participate while toting the kids in a stroller. Here are some pics of my baby girl and me at the start line. Bridget was such a trooper!
And, of course, we at Zoey’s Attic we believe there’s no better way to get your family in the St. Patrick’s Day mood than a lucky Irish t-shirt! We’ve got special shirts for everyone from your St. Patty’s princess to her Irish grandpa. Just think how adorable the pictures will be!

More birdies - birdies, birdies everywhere!
I am barely keeping my head above water these days with my Etsy shop. Apparently, the birdie shirts are quite popular with the sibling set. I am definitely NOT complaining about having all these shirts to print, it's just I often lose of how awesome what I do is. These aren't just white t-shirts, they are really exciting things for the recipients! Whether it's a gift or a pregnancy announcement, someone on the receiving end of my hard work is really excited. That's probably why I spend too much time (from an economic standpoint) making sure each one is just right and that the birdies are spaced right and the font looks just perfect on each shirt. When I question the time I spend and the amount of headaches that go into printing these shirts myself, I get a picture like this from a happy customer and I get tears in my eyes looking at those beautiful girls meeting their brand new baby brother with their "big sister" shirts on! Aahh! It's so awesome!

I thought I'd also post the biggest birdie order to date. I shipped out this order for four siblings today! We've done our fair share of threesies, but this was the first "foursie" and adorable it was, even if I do say so myself! I'm sure before long, this adorable set of four shirts will be worn by four very excited siblings and I'll think about that next time I'm cussing out my printer for jamming! :)

Since I love her blog so much I sent her son and new baby matching big brother/little sister shirts a while back and she posted some adorable pictures of her cute kiddos sporting them. Check 'em out at this post over here.
Since she posted the shirts, I've had a few of you wondering where you can get your very own personalized (or not) birdie shirts, hop on over to my etsy shop or contact me directly if you have some specific requests!
You really need to check out her hilarious blogs is you don't already. She also blogs for Parents.com, so catch up with her now...go... read! Thanks again Emily!

I mean, seriously, how cute is that?
Yes, I design shirts and yes, I like to make money designing shirts, but really - really why do I do this? Cause I know personally how much fun it is to see your little one in an adorable shirt announcing your family is expanding.
Now, if you know me in real life, rest assured, my family isn't growing again any time soon, BUT I thought this shirt was too cute not to model my babygirl (who's almost 2 1/2 now!) in it during a recent cupcake baking and decorating session! Think how fun that would be to email to friends and family and see if they figure it out or have your little one wear a pregnancy announcement t-shirt to a family birthday party, gathering, etc... I just love the element of surprise and better yet, the look on everyone's face when they figure it out!
