Turtle T-shirts are ALL the rage these days!

Okay, so there may not be a HUGE demand for turtle t-shirts, but one little 18 month old girl (you guessed it - my little 18 month old) loves them! So much so that she is always saying "tur-tle" and pointing them out. You really would be shocked how easy it is to find turtles in everyday life! Who would think she could find one in Trader Joe's? But, she did and then the rest of the shopping trip it was "tur-tle, tur-tle, tur-tle" promptly followed by some screaming when her mean mom (that would be me) wouldn't buy the wine bottle with the turtle on it!

So, in honor of my little budding herpetologist, I came up with a line of animal t-shirts. Now your little turtle fan or whatever animal fan can wear his or her favorite animal. Currently, I only have about 3 designs, but I'm taking requests and would love to hear what your son or daughter's favorite animal obsession was or is. Leave me a comment and let me know!

Your Big Ideas: Pregnancy Announcement Cards

Thanks to Eden from Georgia for submitting this great pregnancy announcement suggestion about using pregnancy announcement cards to reveal a new baby's gender:

"Use a card to announce the sex of the baby. The card can be sent from the big brother/sister. "I'm a big brother-to-be of a little sister/brother." My 20 wk ultrasound is next week and I'm looking for a cute fun way to announce the sex to my friends that live in different states."

True, I'm not really Irish, except by marriage, but my first name (Erin) certainly seems to fit with this holiday and so I've always adopted it as my own. Valentine's Day Pregnancy Announcements

It's that time of year - hearts, candy, roses and more! Did you just find out an extra special Valentine's day surprise? Retro Rainbows: Perfect for the World's Best Big Sister

Sometimes I hear we need to add more plain big sister shirts - something that would be a perfect gift from a younger brother or sister. Well, we're here to make you all happy! This is the first in a new series of "big sister and big brother bests". We'll be making all kinds of sibling t-shirts perfect for birthday gifts, christmas gifts (hey, there's only 350 days, 12 hours and 4 minutes, but who's counting?) and memorable moments - graduation, etc.

Here's the first design I came up with for the best big sister in the family. It's a rainbow design - a throwback to my love of drawing rainbows and clouds as a young lass. Then I coupled it with the text, "world's coolest big sister" because, I was after all the worlds coolest big sister, right Mark?
